The Beaches Activists Movement (BAM) will be hosting two physician experts at its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 pm. The speakers will be presenting on Covid-19, with information including the current status of the disease, Covid-19 variants, the various vaccine options, recommendations and efficacy, side effects and more.
Dr. Anil Suryaprasad is an Internal Medicine physician who worked for 6 years as a medical epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and was a former medical chair of Infection Prevention and Control at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. He is actively practicing in Duval and Volusia County.
Dr. Mohammed Reza is an Infectious Disease Specialist, medical director at CAN Community Health Jacksonville and Daytona clinics. He has been a vocal educator within the Jacksonville community about Covid-19 infection and prevention. He is also actively practicing in Duval and Volusia County. Their presentation will be offered via Zoom and is open to the public--you do NOT need to be a member of BAM to attend. RSVP here and receive the zoom link to the event.
