No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half of its citizens.” –Michelle Obama

Support Biden's Repeal of Trump's Gag Rule on Title X Health Providers

Donald Trump banned providers at publicly-funded clinics (such as your county health department) that receive Title X from providing any information on abortion. As a result:

  • The Title X program lost more than 1,000 service sites (roughly 1/4 of the prior total).

  • Remaining grantees saw almost 850,000 fewer clients in 2019 than 2018, including 575,000 fewer clients below the federal poverty level & almost 325,000 uninsured.

Now Joe Biden's administration is proposing to roll back this destructive order. Click here to submit your "formal comment." Urge HHS to eliminate the gag rule for family planning providers and change Title X family planning funding. It's time to give patients access to the information & care they need.
