Beaches Activists Movement (BAM) is hosting a Zoom meeting on Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m. The speakers will be the three high-profile attorneys who represented the School Board in their effort to get the current Sales Tax Referendum on the ballot a year sooner – Hank Coxe, Audrey Moran, and Scott Cairns.
As all three lawyers have deep roots in Jacksonville's legal community, they will also offer insights into the continuing investigations into the abortive process to sell JEA, and the ongoing legal battles surrounding last year's passage of Measure 4, restoring voting rights to nonviolent ex-felons.
