Meeting Reminder: Join Us Tonight!
We're holding our final BAM Zoom of 2020 tonight at 7 p.m. and you don't want to miss it. We've got a fascinating analysis of the work and voting patterns that turned Duval blue, and a more granular look at how the 2020 vote here at the Beaches compared with 2016. We'll also talk about how to weigh in on several issues that are top of mind for most of us right now: Lot J, the Georgia Senate Run-offs, and the rising Covid numbers here in JAX. We'll still find time for a holiday toast or two - and to share our hopes for the incoming Biden-Harris administration. RSVP to get the Zoom details and feel free to bring a friend. See you there!
Women's March Panel on DeSantis Anti-Protest Bill, Saturday December 12
Our friends at Women's March have organized a presentation on the Governor's proposed legislation to undercut our First Amendment rights to protest in Florida. To learn more about the specifics of the bill and what you can do to stand against it, join this Zoom event Saturday 11:30 a.m. Speakers will include activists, criminal justice lawyers, and legislative strategists. All are welcome but registration is required.
