More than 600 postcards were inscribed by BAM volunteers with personal messages encouraging voters to sign up for Vote-By-Mail in the latest round of voter outreach activities.
Although COVID-19 prevented the postcard group from doing its work at its usual gathering spot at Panera’s, the 15 volunteers were undeterred, moving to their dining room and patio tables! BAM has ambitious plans for increasing turn-out and protecting voter rights amid the uncertainties of COVID-19 – and personal postcards to progressive-leaning voters are a proven and effective strategy for accomplishing these goals.
