More than 25 cars joined the Beaches caravan for the 2021 Women's March in support of reproductive rights on Saturday. Cars were decorated and horns were blaring as the group headed downtown.
The caravan joined hundreds of participants in front of the federal courthouse for a rally featuring State Senator Audrey Gibson, Rep. Tracy Davis, Rep. Angie Nixon, Jax City Council candidate Tracye Polson and other speakers. The group was loud and vocal as it marched to city hall calling attention to efforts by state legislators to eliminate access to comprehensive health care for women - including abortion and birth control. BAM joined with Jax NOW in organizing the Beaches caravan. Thank you for the terrific turn-out!
